For 2026 Vestal Little League will offer the chance for kids baseball ages 5 to 12 to play baseball! We will have three divisions this year: AAA, Minors and Majors.

AAA is an instructional league for 5 and 6 year old kids. The cost of this league is $75. The goal of this league is to have a lot of fun while teaching kids the basics they will need to move on in future years to our Minors division. We teach them batting, base running, how to throw, how to catch, how to catch pop flies, how to field ground balls, etc. This league uses a hitting tee and a pitching machine. This league is not a competitive league and is meant to be an instructional league to introduce youngsters to the game of baseball.

Minors baseball is for kids ages 7, 8 and 9. The cost of this league is $135. Minors is a bit more competitive and continues to teach all of the same skills that were introduced in AAA while also beginning to teach kids to pitch and how to hit off of live pitching. In minors we use a machine to pitch for part of the game and kids pitch for part of the game. We also work on base running and introduce stealing bases during that portion of the game where the kids are pitching. The goal of this league is to have fun while developing the skills the kids will need to advance into our Majors program. 

Majors baseball is our most advanced division for kids ages 10, 11 and 12. The cost of this league is $135. We continue to teach all the same skills that the kids learned in Minors but in a much more competitive environment. The kids pitch the entire game in Majors. To play at this level the kids need to have developed the skills that were taught in Minors. 

The league recognizes that different kids will have different talents and skill sets. With this in mind, we evaluate all kids in the Majors and Minors Division each year to make sure they are correctly placed and to make sure the teams are as evenly matched as possible.
